An independent production company in Hollywood, founded in 2014 by a producer and a cinematographer who wanted to make films the way they’d want to watch them.
(01) Our story
Small on purpose. Every film gets a director, a producer and the same post team from day one.
Northlight started in a converted garage on Seward Street with one camera, one edit bay and a roster of two. Twelve years later we have four directors, our own sound stage and a post house next door, and we still answer the phone ourselves.
We make commercials, music videos, documentaries and short films for brands, labels and broadcasters who care how their work looks and how it feels.
